Thupakki & Singam 2 are almost solo releases as Poda Podi is a washout from day1. But Arrambam has huge competition during its entire run. AAA producers ensured its huge opening so it spoiled Arrambam's opening after first two days and Pandiya nadu after first week due to good WOM further eat into Arrambams collection. But still it went on to become a blockbuster which tells that Ajith's star power is next to Superstar.
Thuppaki is a perfect example for Vijay. If he selects such movies with racy screenplay instead of giving more importance to his image his movies will rock at BO.
It will be impossible for anyone to touch Endhiran collections as its dubbed version itself has grossed 45c globally. Only Rajini sir can do it. May be all others can target Endhiran Tamil version collections which is 160c in India and 64c overseas.
